Developed data entry entry forms for the National Children’s Study. Developed productivity applications for clinical research using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and SQL. Maintained, upgraded, and troubleshot legacy WinForms and LAMP systems.

Performed data validation, cleansing, analysis, and reporting using a variety of programming tools/scripting languages. Served as Data Manager for three clinical drug trials. Created and maintained databases for clinical research studies using REDCap. Wrote SOPs establishing data handling guidelines for research studies. Provided technical support for Microsoft Office, IBM SPSS, and other software. Attended weekly research meetings; presented journal articles relating molecular genetics and nutrition/obesity at team journal club meetings.

Conducted a summer research project studying how clinical staff access electronic medical records and developing heuristics for detecting HIPPA privacy violations using network access database.

Maintained multiple marketing databases and files. Assisted the Editors with copy-editing. Prepared briefing material for Editorial Board meetings. Used content management systems to update VUP’s, Amazon’s, Barnes & Noble’s and other online book-sellers’ websites with new information about VUP’s books and authors. Shipped books and supplies using USPS and UPS.

Worked on a direct mail campaign to inform potential clients about good investment strategies and the stock market's historical role as a wealth generator.

Shelved and maintained books using the Library of Congress system. Helped patrons locate books.

Performed high-speed amount entry and balancing on proof-of-deposit documents using NCR 7760 proof machines. Image-captured PODs and FED inclearings using high-speed NDP 1150 document sorters. Performed high-speed amount-entry and balancing functions using ITI Director.
